JOB DESCRIPTION
Identify potential vendors and obtain quotes.
Monitor inventory levels, identify purchasing needs and negotiate deals with potential vendors.
Conduct regular price comparison to ensure that the company is always the best price for each product that is purchased.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and prepare cost analyses.
Follow up with vendors, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
Create and maintain good relationship with suppliers and vendors.
Prepare orders, compile reports, and maintain updated records of each purchased.
Work closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, in Business Administration or any other related field.
Required Skill(s) / Knowledge(s): Good Communication and Interpersonal Skill, Negotiation Skill, Research and Analysis Skill, Good Organisation & Planning Skill.
Proficient in MS Office, i.e. PowerPoint & Excel are a must.
At least 1-3 year(s) of working experience in purchasing role or related field is required for this position.
Able to work under pressure and to meet tight.
