JOB DESCRIPTION

• To maintain and support a Java Servlet/JSP application.
• To enhance the application by implementing best practices in security, logging, deployment.
• To plan and implement a modern rewrite of the application.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• 3-5 years experience in development of Java applications.
• Good knowledge of Java Servlets.
• Java (3-5 years), SQL databases and any ORM or query builder, Tomcat. Knowledge in deployment/server related matters is a plus.
• Experience with ORMs preferably in Java e.g. Hibernate.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS.
• Understanding of the ecosystem of a web application’s supporting servers: Tomcat, Apache.
• Knowledge of JSP.
• Knowledge of jQuery.
• Basic experience with Docker.
