Customer Service Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Liaise with the related parties ( Customer, Shipping Liner, Air Liner, Transporter , Operation Team ) to ensure smooth arrangement of all shipments.
  • Pricing – Request best rate from Shipping Liner / Airliner.
  • Prepare Quotation sent to customer upon received enquiries from customers / oversea agents.
  • Monitor of Container Delivery / Cargo Delivery on daily basis with customers and operation teams to ensure on time delivery as requested.
  • Applying Permit with related OGA Dept ( Other Government Agencies ) on behalf of customers.
  • Prepare Booking / Sailing Schedule sent to customer.
  • Preparation of Documentations for each shipment.
  • Prepare Various Reports as requested by customers.
  • Prepare payment request for the Shipping Local Charges with Account Dept to arrange payment payable to Shipping Liner / Airliner / Freight Forwarder.
  • Update the tracking status of each shipment in our company in-house system.
  • Any other jobs assigned from time to time when necessary.


JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Diploma in any discipline, preferably in logistics, supply chain or business studies.
  • Advantage for candidates with knowledge in freight forwarding/valuable cargo business/ATA carnet/Cites/Shipping documents preparation.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
  • Fast learner, attention to details & able to multi task.
  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc).
  • Good workplace & phone etiquette.
  • Able to work independently and strong work commitment.
