JOB DESCRIPTION

• Must familiar with use CAD & CAM software.
• Able reads and interprets blueprints. Make detailed CAD drawings.
• Ability in Interpretation of engineering drawings & geometrical tolerances.
• Analyse drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates.
• To generate CNC program based on the drawing and machining process. Generate tool path and NC Code.
• To design an efficient and effective CNC processing.
• To detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required.
• Change cutting tools and adjust machines feed and speeds as needed.
• Good skill in reading, measuring, interpreting measuring tools.
• Identify roots cause and corrective action to resolve production process and quality issues.
• Responsible for material wastage control, manufacturing cost reduction and compliance with safety requirements.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of work area at all time.
• Operate the CNC router machine.
• All others responsibilities as dedicated by superior from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Certificate/Diploma in engineering drawing & CNC precision technology.
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Knowledge and familiar with drawing 2D/3D, CAD & CAM programming software.
• Must have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD & T).
• Familiar with CNC router machine operation is an added advantage.
